Today, I toast to friendships.

The kinds which you meet when you are yay-high in a church nursery, and go on to stand by you even though they’ve seen all your best and worst moments,

The kinds which accidentally happen, and later blossom into the best kinds of relationships you couldn’t even imagine living without,

The kinds that are fleeting, but leave permanent imprints,

The kinds that slip your memory occasionally, but when they come round, bring the biggest smiles to your faces,

The kinds that make you do the stupidest things in the world just because they bring out the best in you the way,

The kinds that you are forced to work with, and make you hate and love and love and hate,

The kinds which are borne of a friend-of-a-friend, or an accidental facebook error, those sekret friendships that you build along the sidelines,

The kinds that don’t need you to constantly be there, but know that you are there when they need you,

The kinds that make you burst out laughing the moment you see them and you can’t quite explain that sudden explosion of joy,

The kinds that at the very first meeting or conversation, reach out and grab part of your soul and just won’t let go,

The kinds that take your hand so that you won’t get lost, make sure you tread carefully on broken egg shells, whisper in your ear words of advice,

The kinds that can sit and do absolutely NOTHING with you, and get you by your worst times when you don’t even know it,

The kinds that you see every day, take for granted, forget to call or text, and only ring when you need favours,

The kinds that grow into something more than friends,

And all the other kinds in between.

today i learnt that people who are bitter, people who are angry, people who are jealous and judgemental, people who force their views upon others, people who feel the need to berate others and constantly put others down, people who think they are better than everyone else, are actually just insecure. insecure with who they are, insecure of their place and standing, just really insecure. and instead of getting angry at them for putting everyone you care about down, instead of getting angry at them for berating you right and left, up and down, inside out, i think what you really should feel is pity cos what they do, is pitiful.

and it's not that i didnt know all that before, i mean i've heard it so many times but today i finally understood. today i wasn't angry. today i was annoyed. and today i pitied.

and it's sad cos these people feel the need to be the best, the brightest, the most accomplished in order to be noticed and be loved. its as if they feel that their achievements define who they are and without their achievements their value drops to zero. and they see others as threats to their brightness so they need to try to dim the lights of others or apply blindfolds to your eyes so the lights of others appear less bright. and they try and try, try so hard to make their light shine the brightest but you feel like telling them, the harder you try, the more energy you consume, the faster your light dims. and it just reflects so badly on yourself.

best movie everrrrrrr! everyone is so cute and famous and nice aaahhhhhahahaha julia roberts! eric dane! anne hathaway! the both taylors! jennifer garner! patrick dempsey! and actually everyone lah! i dont really watch movies twice but i would watch this again and again and again! i think it's so sweet to have someone you can always count on! ♥

now, this song just makes me laugh but i think actually if someone i really really liked sang this to me i think i'd be on top of the world like the luckiest girl on earth! hehe anyway just cos there is so much love happy early valentine's day friends!

i think its so nice when people walk up to you at random places and shake your hand and say "hey you're audrey right? i'm ______ i recognize you from class. nice to see you." i mean instead of pretending you dont see someone or pretending you dont know the person. some people just stare and look away like at least smile lah right! but yes when people walk up and introduce themselves, its a hmmm very mature thing to do. i need to learn to be like that hehe.

i was doing my readings and i saw these nike women ads:

its so cute there are i think 6 ads like these all about different parts of your body that is made ugly by sports :( but yes nevermind cos one day omg what did the ad say wait.. "there is someone out there who will say to me: i love you and i love your knees and i want the four of us to grow old together" i mean i dont have problems with my knees lah but its so cute!

i'm not really into cars like omg cars ♥_♥ that kind but this car is just really really awesome!

look even the engine is bedazzled! so cute right? but then right, like wont people pluck out the crystals!

but anyhow i still think its such a cute car so if one day anyone is feeling generous, please think of me and this amazing car it would be an awesome surprise :)
