today's conversation over dinner was one of the deeper ones i've had in a long time. i don't know how we started talking about friendship and relationships, but then it's always interesting to hear about things from a guy's perspective.
and straight out of a guy's mouth: "sometimes when a guy knows there's no chance of getting together with you, he doesn't want to be your friend anymore. most of the time, for guys it's either all or nothing." so there you have it, not said by a girl but a guy. and i guess it's true. for a guy it's like why waste time on something that's gonna end up in nothing but friendship. hmmm interesting.
anyhows, i have two birthdays this year! yayyy! cos today is my singapore birthday and then in half an hours time it'll be my hawaii birthday! :)

i think, if you really treasure a friendship, you shouldn't ever let it go anywhere beyond just friends. cos as much as all of us like to believe things will be the same, it won't. the whole dynamics of the friendship changes and you end up losing a friend.
